Female entrepreneurship, purpose, and fashion with soul
In 2020, Tropicalia began to take shape through the entrepreneurial spirit of Sara, who decided to pursue her dream of working with fashion, initially selling basic clothing online. At first, her mother Aparecida was sceptical, but as a highly experienced seamstress, she embraced this new journey with determination. Soon, the first orders arrived, and challenges grew: all revenue had to be split between reinvestment in the business and supporting the household, making Tropicalia more than just a project — it became a true livelihood and a shared purpose.
Sâmia, the younger sister, recognised the need to build a solid foundation for the business. She spent her nights studying website development, business organisation, processes, and customer service, bringing innovation and structure to the project. Today, she manages commercial operations and projects. Meanwhile, Sara, then studying Civil Engineering, discovered her passion in marketing and style, contributing her creativity and dedication to strengthen branding, uniqueness, and the community around the brand. She now leads not only the style and marketing team but also the company’s financial operations.
Aparecida, who began as the seamstress, became the production director, leading a group of women committed to ensuring quality in every piece.
Today, Tropicalia goes beyond bikinis; it produces clothing with the same purpose: to deliver self-esteem, confidence, and self-love to everyone who wears its creations.
